Job Title: Design & Estimation Engineer – MEP (Fire Protection, PHE, HVAC & ELV Systems)

Job Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret tender documents, specifications, drawings and BOQs for Fire Protection, HVAC and ELV systems (CCTV, Fire Alarm, PA, Access Control, etc.).

• Develop conceptual and detailed design drawings in compliance with applicable standards such as NBC, NFPA, ASHRAE, IS Codes, and relevant ELV standards.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates, quantity take-offs and material specifications for fire protection systems, HVAC and ELV systems.
• Coordinate with Sales, Business Development and Project Execution teams to ensure design intent aligns with commercial and technical deliverables.
• Prepare technical submittals, compliance statements, equipment schedules and design documentation for client and consultant approval.
• Support procurement with equipment/vendor evaluation and prepare RFQs for sub-vendors.
• Assist in evaluating vendor quotes to ensure technical compliance and budget alignment.
• Attend design coordination and clarification meetings with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
• Provide value-engineered solutions that optimize performance and cost.
• Maintain organized records of project estimations, design files and pricing libraries.
• Project Supervision and Management as per the Project Manager Direction.

• Maintain ISO documentation.

Skills & Competencies:

• In-depth knowledge of MEP systems with specialization in Fire Protection, HVAC, and ELV.
• Familiarity with relevant standards: NBC, NFPA, TAC, ASHRAE, IS Codes, IEC, etc.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Strong analytical skills for cost estimation and system design.
• Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects, deadlines and cross-disciplinary coordination.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
